Music therapy unlocks the natural, spontaneous creativity within us. The process is a very liberating experience for those suffering from various forms of stress and anxiety. We are all affected by the sounds around us in our daily lives and increasingly people are exploring music as a means to escape the pressures of society.
Music therapy works by engaging our ability to respond to sounds allowing us to understand and express more openly our feelings and emotions.
In each session a selection of musical instruments and the client’s own voice are used to aid communication and listening.
The sessions involve vocal toning and repetitive sound practice. The vibrations resulting from these practices help to adjust any imbalances in the body and restore natural spiritual balance. Each session can be developed alongside the client for their specific needs.
